Everyone has a different name for moments in life that leave a lasting impression.
Justin calls them “Meteor Moments.”
A meteor is statistically 30x smaller than the impression it leaves. Here are the lessons that his “Meteor Moments” have taught him.
1) Discover Your “Why”
Without it, the daily pursuit of greatness can feel mundane and repetitive. Your “why” is an emotional thing. It should make you FEEL something.
It needs to spark emotion.
The “Why” behind each individual is a personal thing. They can also be temporary.
As you accomplish goals and feats in life, it is necessary an appropriate to adjust your “Why.”
2) Preparing and acknowledging “worst case scenario” permits us freedom of choice and total control of our actions.
If we fail to prepare for what could be, then our reality becomes bound to the current situation.
Preparation gives us the ability to choose what to do an how to do it when responding to adversity. Without allowing it to become the main focus, we must acknowledge the worst case scenario, make a plan, and stick to it.
3) Be a Learning Machine
There is a lot to learn from losing. There is even more to learn from winning. Evaluate every opportunity in life to learn.
Win or lose, learn.
4) Instead of getting bitter, you just gotta get better.
When things don’t go your way, analyze the situation, and make a plan to overcome.
Don’t allow emotion to cloud your ability to choose a plan of action.
5) Catch People Winning.
This can be anybody.
By helping others understand that they are winning, you are helping keep the train of success running.
Don’t take a moment to uplift another person for granted.
Justin concluded with this:
Think about “Meteor Moments” in your own life.
What experiences have left a lasting impression on you that is 30x greater than the moments.
By being the best version of yourself, you will be “Meteor Moments” for others.
Enjoy life,
